HAPPY MUNDAY

Buongiorno to week 6 of Firenze and week 8 in Europa. Oh man. Time flies.

I’m writing this from my couch right before a midterm. For breakfast? Beets and apples with peanut butter. You’ll note that I’m not a peanut butter fan and will always opt for nutella. But the peanut butter makes the apples taste better. I’m not exactly an apple fan- they’re really sweet…

It’s a great day: the sun is out, our bathroom window works, the broken lightbulbs have been replaced… and the sun is out!!!! *and the sun’s coming up in the morning~* Basically, I woke up knowing it would be a great day because God’s in control. And the sun’s out. I love the sun.

I also love me some beets. Yeeeheeeee.

Okay, brb. gonna study.

After my midterm and italian lecture, I noticed a lovely UPS package in the office area. First of all, I have the best family in the world. It is a little larger and unorthodox but my family is the biggest blessing and I wouldn’t trade them for anything. Well, Kooya Jakes, the best kooya in the whole wide world, shipped me photos of my beautiful family. I screamed, right then and there. Not a shrill-ish scream but a joyful kind of “AHHHHH!” if you can catch my vibes. I then spent the following 30 minutes taping them in a format to cover one of the art pieces that I sleep next to. Now, my family is the first and last thing I see. When I pray for them, I can look at their faces 🙂

It is currently evening. It is a good evening. Yes, the next few days will be full of assignments and midterms but it will be worth it all. Spring break is upon us!
